Eminent Domain

I am quite positive that, unless you live without a TV, newspaper or outside contact you have had to hear about the eminent domain issues currently in New London, Connecticut. This has had me concerned to no end. It should concern every single American. Whether or not you own property, it should be just as big a concern. Why? I'll tell you (you didn't think I'd leave you wondering did you, dedicated readers?) For starters this used to be a democracy, the world's melting pot, a place offering freedom and a place to pursue happiness. If this eminent domain issue isn't squashed immediately all that is at risk. I could work my whole life, maintaining my family's land. Land & home that could've been in my family for generations, to what? Get a knock on the door one summer afternoon giving me 90 days to evacuate because the government has deemed that my property could generate more tax
revenues if there were a mall here? What if I used all my savings to buy my dream home, or finally found a affordable rental where I was secure raising my children; To meet that same fate? This needs to be addressed nationwide, we must stand up and say "NO" loud and clear and NOW! Here are some links to give you more information:
